On par with New Asian BBQ on JK for dim sum imho. I thought some items were slightly better and some items were not. The visit was way better experience than our visit prior to Covid. It looks like they up their game a bit. It's back on the short list for Dim Sum even though we did not get a choice in the Tea.

I came to Orchids Garden around noon on a weekend. As expected it was very packed, but we were seated immediately. I really like this restaurant because we're able to order from the workers who were pushing carts with dim sum in them. They weren't the nicest, but it was a quick and good. We also ordered the house special pan fried noodles from the kitchen which arrived really fast. Overall, the food here tastes really good. It's one of my favorite dim sum locations. The service can be a hit or miss though.

I live in Utah, so when I travel, I try to eat what I cannot get at home. My wife and I were visiting family in Las Vegas, so we had dim sum for lunch, because dim sum is the best kind of family meal. My aunt and uncle know that I love braised beef tendon (not the cold stuff), so they recommended Orchids Garden. Orchids Garden is a very nice, typical dim sum cart restaurant; large and bustling. It has all of the usual dim sum dishes, including my favorites; fresh tofu fa, braised chicken feet and braised beef tendon. We were also pleasantly surprised by a pan fried chive dumpling. Dim sum selections tend to be light on green veg, so it was very welcome. I would definitely return for another meal during my next visit. The braised beef tendon is amazingly good; the best that I've ever had.
